Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often referred to as Rihanna by the Barbadians is a singer/songwriter. Her hits comprise Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, as well as Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known artist who has sold more than 41 million albums worldwide and more than 150 million songs. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae music, and began singing while she was young. Her discontent was caused by the chaos in her family, and by the frequent conflict with her father. So she began to immerse herself into music. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group and was invited to audition for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talent of this teenager. The girl was then moved into New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna quickly became a star when she released her debut album. Her uplifting songs became favorites among the young who pushed her into the world of film. She is a young, accomplished woman, who is now her own style icon as well as a teenager icon. Rihanna uses her fame for good and actively supports several organizations.
