Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American actress and singer. She is a Michigan native born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). The mother of Kristen is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment at an early age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed up for an agent, was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. In addition, she is beginning private acting lessons. Bell had a minor role, uncredited in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang However, the sequence in which she made an appearance was cut. This meant that the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell played part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
