Annette Funicello, an American actress and singer. Her most famous role was as one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". Her singing began in her teens and became popular for the smash songs "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess." Annette was raised in Utica by parents of Italian origin. The shy girl was a young child. Annette hoped to make her dream of becoming an entertainer and began dancing as well as acting. The actress gained fame in the 1950s when she appeared as "Mouseketeers". Annette was able to shed her Disney identity in her adult years and began to take on roles for adults. She is best remembered as being one of the first actors to create the genre "beach parties". She was a part of the cast in movies such as How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, Pajama Party, and 'Beach Parties.' Annette continued to record music from time-to-time. Annette was diagnosed with MS since the year 1992.
